Contacted by “Hawaiian Dave” I was asked if I would like to take a “Superman-Batman” sketch that Dave had acquired from Kelley Jones and do a blue line inking job on it.

THE PUNISHER: case study

Assignment: Tighten pencils and ink the Mike Zeck “Punisher” Prelim drawing below.

This was a lot harder than I thot it would be…

When I drew over Zeck’s rough, the work began to look more like “mine” which would have been fine, had Adam wanted a “John Beatty” Punisher!
